En esos días Liga contaba con varias disciplinas deportivas: fútbol, baloncesto, atletismo, boxeo, beisbol, natación, ping-pong y ajedrez. <p>El presupuesto inicial del equipo fue de <strong>500 sucres</strong>. En aquel entonces el equipo se conformó con estudiantes de la Universidad Central. Ellos tenían que solventar sus propios gastos, uniformes, vendas, entre otros gastos.</p> <p>León fue quien diseñó el primer uniforme del equipo, blanco con una U roja con dos triángulos azul y rojos de fondo, similares a los del escudo de la intitución madre.
